Up to 3 people review/screen your content based on story, production value, New Media. If 2-3 of the screeners approve of your content based on our criteria: story, production value, a smipt of new media, you are accepted in to the festival. Judging Process -
If your content gets accepted into the festival, the New Media Film Festival™ team will choose the top 3 in each category. Those top 3 chosen in each category go before our judges to choose the category winners and the Grand Prize Winner. PLEASE NOTE:

  	Any total running time is accepted. We can review all 3d formats for our screening process. Should you be accepted into the festival competition, if the venue cannot screen your format, we will have you in competiion only.   	APPS can be created for the iPhone, iPad, Evo, Nokia's Ovi Store, Blackberry's App World, Palm's App Catalog, Google's Android Market, or Microsoft's Windows Marketplace for Mobile. As long as they tell a story and have a visual component, they can be submitted in this category. • 	DIGITAL COMICS- SUBMIT TO Los Angeles 2012
  	Digital Comics are accepted in digital format only (no physical books please) . Winner of this category will be judged by a Marvel Graphics Novel published writer, viewed by an award winning production company for consideration to be made into an animation or live action feature and All submissions will be logged by category and title for consideration for distribution.   	Features are narrative works with a duration over 30 minutes. NOTE: If you are submitting an animated feature, please submit it to the Animation cateogory. • 	LGBT CONTENT - SUBMIT TO Los Angeles 2012
  	We have a green light with a LGBT friendly cable station. TRT (total running time) must not exceed 15 minutes. All formats considered. You will be considered for screening at our LA and SF New Media Film Festivals™ in addition to distribution options on the cable station. We look forward to reviewing your content.   	Over $9,000.00 in prizes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Mingle Media TV Audience Winner Competition invites the public to cast a daily vote for their favorite web series during the time allotted. Finalists will have their web series screened at the San Francisco and Los Angeles New Media Film Festival™ showings and will have a final audience vote off during the last two weeks prior to the New Media Film Festival™ in May 2011 to select a winner. The winner and 5 finalists will receive an award certificate and be eligible for the NMFF prizes below.   	Submit to New Media Film Festival™ Music Video Competition In the very first year of New Media Film Festival™ a music video won our Shot On Red category. We'd like to Music Videos shot on any format to have an opportunity to win, on its own, among thier peers., so, this category was created. Stay tuned as we create ways to monetize this form and/or ways to showcase the content for viewing pleasure.   	Since New Media is an ever evolving arena, we have this category for those of you that have created something that you feel does not fit into our other categories listed. Possibly 5d, 7d, SI, Interactive, Gaming. If your creative endeavors want an opportunity to be considered for distribution and our $45k in combined prizes and this is the category you feel best fits what you created, please submit here. We accept all TRT (total running times) from 30 seconds to 2 hours in this category When you submit, you will receive an email asking for info and instructions on how to send your content for review. • 	New Media Scripts - SUBMIT TO Los Angeles 2012
  	Scripts 30 pages or less are accepted into the New Media Scripts Competition. All Genres WGA and Non WGA accepted. The script must be either registered with Federal Copyright Office, WGA and/or mailed back to yourself in a stamped sealed envelope (no budget version of copyright) The winner in this category will choose from one of three high level Industry Executives to have a general meeting with. A Script Reading of your story in front of a live audience with actors cast by Susan Johnston Casting and held at Showbiz Store & Cafe in Los Angeles CA. We can videotape your script reading if you are not able to attend. • 	SRC - Socially Responsible Content - SUBMIT TO Los Angeles 2012
  	Includes PSA's, short Industrials, journalism, Millenium Projects. This is for any type of film & media content that has a socially responsible message and would like to be considered for competition in this category. ALL submissions in this category in addition to the awards may have the opportunity for marketing, see details.   	Trailers: Minimum length should be at least 30 seconds and no more than four minutes in length. • 	WEB SERIES - Online Media (3 or more in the same series) - SUBMIT TO Los Angeles 2012
  	Pay one submission fee for 3 episodes. If you have 3 or more webisodes that pertain to the same theme or are part of a larger series, submit them as as a webseries. Like individual webisodes, a webseries may be created on any medium (HD, 35mm, Super8, etc.), but they are intended for distribution on the Web. Content may include narrative, documentary, and experimental material in any genre. NOTE: Each webisode in the series must be under 20 minutes. Do not send more than three webisodes as part of your submission.
